The Lagoon, St. George's, Grenada

We set off for St Georges the capital of the island the next morning, after rising with the sun at 6am, and breakfasting watching the local wildlife. Jo and her dad had a dive enroute which they both enjoyed having seen a turtle, ray, barracudas and a very large lobster which refused to come out of its hole. We spent the evening in the Grenada Yacht Club, celebrating Grenadian Independence Day with other cruisers, accompanied by a steel band. Although we were in bed early, the party went on all night, I think the music stopped as we got up at 6am.
